I don’t really know what that means…”new digs”. Does that just refer to clothes? a house? or anything you get your hands on? Well, I’m usin’ it! You may or may not have noticed that my blog looks ever-so-slightly different. That is because my lovely fiance switched me over to a wordpress blog. There were a few kinks in the system switching from my blogger account, but hopefully nobody noticed anything. I think John has remedied all the oddities. Soon I hope to step it up a notch round here and do a little re-design. I didn’t spend really anytime designing this blog when is started it cuz I wasn’t sure how committed i would be to actually blogging. Add it to the list of things I intend to do and design…It will happen eventually..don’t pressure me.

Paramount Theater
Well I may be a day or so later than promised, but here are a few pictures of the lovely Paramount Theater. Once again I really recommend that everyone try to check out a classic movie night there. It was so much fun. This theater is so amazing, look at all the little details. And I love that they carry the vintage theme all the way through. There is a live organist playing while you find your seats and get settled, there is a raffle where they spin a giant wheel, and like i mentioned before, they play old news reels before the show. So much fun!

Paramount Theater, Grace Kelly, and Hitcock

Last Friday John and I went out to Oakland after work to meet up with some friends to celebrate my good friend Jessica’s birthday. The plan was to see Hitchcock’s Rear Window at the Paramount Theater. I’d never seen the movie or been to theater and, boy, was I in for a treat! The theater was beautiful, fully restored in all its old time glory and the movie was a mere $5 dollars. Also adorable was the fact that they played old news reels before the film! I really liked the movie a lot and I especial loved Grace Kelly and all her amazing dresses. Like these beauties

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ONE!
And those are just from one movie. How many great dresses can one girl have?
I must admit the movie sparked a bit of a Grace Kelly obsession, so here’s a few more for anyone else wanting more.
Duh, of course there is a wedding picture!

And because Johnny loves Frank, here’s Grace with ol’ blue eyes.
Okay that’s all for now. I’m being told that it is time to hit the sack!
I’ll try to post some photos tomorrow of the Paramount theater cuz its pretty breathtaking.
Website: Chris Benz
I don’t recall how i came across this website , but i love the design. Fashion designer Chris Benz site is really cool. Everything is connected by one thread that you continually move down to little clusters of page info. I love the look, and better yet it still functions extremely well.

LG’s new SL-series LCD TVs are noteworthy because of their “seamless” design which makes the bezel, LCD panel and speakers all look like a single piece. The 47-inch SL90 is LED-backlit with a 240Hz refresh rate.
Taking up only 1.15-inches in the thickness department, the SL90 also has a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and an ambient light sensor for dynamic brightness adjustment. The SL80 nixes the LED-backlighting, cuts contrast ratio to 150,000:1 and fattens up to 1.8-inches of thickness—all in an effort to cut costs. But seeing as LG hasn’t released pricing or availability for the SL90, it’s unclear exactly how much money is saved.
In any case, the SL80 will be available in August in 42-, 47-, and 55-inch variants for $1600, $1900, and $2800 respectively.

John thinks it would be awesome to have our get away “car” be a slick lookin vespa. This guy i guess had the same idea, but hes not as cute as john. ha.
Hes been keeping an eye on craigslist lately, with hopes that maybe he can get this thing to happen.
Today he found this one, and in an attempt to win me over (i.e fork over half the cash to buy one) he sent me pictures.
if he keeps finding beauties like these, he MIGHT win me over! just dont tell him that! ;c)
