Toot Toot: Recent Design Work

Hi guys, just wanted to shamelessly share a little project i just completed at work for Tillamook Cheese. I designed and illustrated a fun interactive info-graphic that helps explain the differences between natural and processed cheese. I have been thrilled to see it featured on FastCo. and Creativity’s sites and am glad that the message of how weird and creepy processed cheese is, is spreading haha. Here’s a video clip that helps sum up the experience.

You can visit the actual site here and experience all the animations for yourself.

PS if you are perplexed by the title of this post “Toot Toot,” that’s me tooting my own horn!

Because it’s Friday: Gangnam Style

Okay a coworker sent me this video because its hilarious and amazing. You can’t stop smiling while watching it.
Here is what little i know about it (from Gawker)

“Park Jae Sang, better known in his homeland as PSY, is a South Korean hip hop artist who is “popular underground due to his sense of humor and unique concerts,” according to Wikipedia.

The Berklee College of Music graduate recently released “Gangnam Style” — his first single in two years — and the music video that accompanies it is a thing to behold.

One Redditor-in-the-know offered this illuminating commentary on what it all means:

‘From what I understand, Gangnam is the fancy schmancy rich part of Seoul. The video is making light of him singing about what a classy dude he is while screaming at yoga butts and dancing in garages and junk.’ ”

Enjoy. And happy Friday.

Peanut’s new dog bed

Just got this adorable small floor cushion for Peeps. Thanks to Dog-Milk for the heads up on a similar Land of Nod floor cushion! These cushions are intended for children, but if you ask me (and Dog-Milk) they are perfect for pups! I've had my eye out for a new/simple affordable bed for her. This gingham pattern was on sale for $13.95 (for the small 22" size) and comes in three colors. Plus I love a classic gingham print. Perfect.
